One of the stories that I am working on right now is the new Jim Thorpe Multicultural Center that we are getting on campus.
The old Commons building is being renovated to become the new multicultural center and yesterday I got an inside look!
There will be three separate meeting rooms that can be partitioned off or opened up to one big room and a kitchen, elevator, new bathroom, and work space for groups to plans and organize events.
On the second floor there is going to be a really cozy lounge where students can hang out and study. The walls on the second floor are all glass so that you can see everything that is going on in meeting rooms.
The interior decoration is going to make the interior seem very modern and stream-line. It is going to be like something straight off of HGTV.
