As I look back on last week, I am in awe of all the things I’ve covered. I believe I did about 5 stories last week along with a brief or something like that, and this week I have 4 stories. Plus, I’m working on 2 other side projects for potential future stories.

Only can what I’ve done this week be deemed socially acceptable because I’m a journalist. On Tuesday alone, I spoke with Congresswoman Mary Fallin, and then an hour later I’m talking to the manager at the Norman Hookah Bar on Crawford Avenue.
The day before, I was interviewing a pharmacist and talking to a researcher at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals about how to quit smoking.
Just those two days alone would be enough for most people, but NO, not for me. The day before that, I was the Monday day reporter, and I had to run to the union to cover a small popcorn fire.
Don’t worry; it gets better. Just as I come into the newsroom on Thursday, I have to cover the potential collapse of the Norman Financial Center a.k.a. The Vista. I talked to construction workers, a waitress of a neighboring restaurant and the Director of Development of the City of Norman.
Had enough yet?
I got done, just in time to go to scandals, and let me just say, “Dang Theta/Beta! Oklahoma Land-run WAS AWESOME!”
