The OURViews this semester have been so horribly written. This is no exception.
"It would outlaw certain forms of birth control, such as the “morning after” pill and intrauterine devices, and it’s unclear where other kinds of hormonal contraceptives would fall under this law. "
A "Pro-life Sooners" response?
"Yeah. You're right. Good."
"It also would severely limit in-vitro fertilization, the practice by which many infertile couples are able to have children. In that process, several embryos are created to improve the chances of success. But under this law, even defective embryos could not be disposed of after treatment. "
A "Pro-life Sooners" response?
"Yeah. You're right. Good."
"Ultimately, this bill is anti-life and anti-family."
Ultimately, you have not even begun to prove this statement, and you never do.

Funny how majority of those 89 percent of those politicians identifying as a denomination of Christianity vote contrary to clearly established principles in God's Word. Some 89 percent...
Just because I'm Republican, doesn't mean I identify myself with Rick Perry's campaign. Just because I'm Christian, doesn't mean I identify myself with the people in these stats who claim to be Christian. How many of these self-identifying Christians would actually affirm Scripture's teachings on marriage between a man and a woman? On the right to life beginning at conception? Some Bible-believing Christians...
So few are suppressing so many by the so many being so weak in belief in absolute truth, and the so many being so loud and influential and honest to what they believe. The version of Christianity that is being suppressed is the Christianity that actually believes the Bible is God's Word and doesn't just contain God's Word. The "war on religion" is the government's desire to force Bible-believing Christians from believing in the Bible. Don't believe me? I don't care what anybody else says, the Bible says marriage is for a man and a woman. The government is telling me I can't believe what God's Word tells me. I say this is a problem. Rick Perry isn't the solution, but this IS a problem when the government is telling me I can't practice my religion the way I want to, which is just to believe what the Bible tells me. I'm okay with civil unions and the fact that homosexuals have all the civil rights of a married couple, what I'm not okay with is the government telling my church that they have to perform a marriage ceremony for every couple that requests one, including especially homosexual couples. Have some respect and decency for those of us who simply want to set our standards to what the Bible values and not what the world values. Do we not deserve this right to freely practice religion? In the same way many people don't like being told they have to practice a certain religion (a practice far removed from this country), many more people in this country don't like being told they CAN'T practice their religion based on how their sacred texts teach.
Rick Perry's on to something, but unfortunately it will take someone with the oral skills of Obama to articulate it well enough to persuade the country. A 30 second ad using such ambiguous language is foolish.

Good and bad points. Given the time, I'll just give my main issue.
As a biker who is in love with the bike lane, the lane itself is like two feet wide. If you can't look both ways before crossing, you have a problem...and by doing so you're exerting WAYYYY less energy than we would if we were to completely stop for you. Also think about how that would work if we were to yield to pedestrians. There's a million people on the south oval at times...all hovering right next to the bike lane. If pedestrians were to have the mindset of "oh I'll just walk out in the lane and hope the nearest biker will stop for me" then there will be thousands of accidents. The only thing that MIGHT work is a crosswalk across the bike lane at parts where there's an intersecting sidewalk...and maybe a circle where people stand if they want to cross so bikers know when to stop for them.

I like how it says they're available...but doesn't say where to get them...because they're definitely not on bigevent.ou.edu where you would assume they would be. Daily fail.

Something not factored in this article is that other universities have multiple dorm options, with bigger rooms going for a higher price and therefore affecting the average size of the dorm room. I know rooms at OSU that are much tinier and cheaper, and I know rooms at OSU that are much larger and more expensive.
