I'm truly amazed that people had to read past the title of this column to figure out it is a troll.

I can understand not getting the floor plan you wanted but not getting the roommate you wanted when you both requested each other is ridiculous.

What has Eaton done? Like JJanowiak I've heard that Eaton has broken some rules but no one has seem to be able to say what.

Because there is a life after sports and injuries can make those athlete-tailored classes worthless.
Also would all athletes get to enroll in this degree program? I would hope not since not all college athletes go on to play professional sports, in fact talking just about football and basketball, "Only less than 2 percent of basketball or football student-athletes go pro,..." (http://www.dailyfreepress.com/news/at...). So we would put athletes like Sam Bradford and Blake Griffin in this degree program if they wanted but what about other athletes whose professional sports career might not be so obvious.
What if one of these athletes destined to go pro has a career-ending injury? So did they just waste a year or two or however long they stay in college on this athlete degree program that they no longer need?
Classes on coaching would be great but I think a lot of people would agree that actually doing it, interacting with kids and doing whatever, would be more worthwhile than a class.

I think sometimes they file humor articles under the opinion section because this article has to be a joke. What do you want the University to say? "Yes there was an earthquake and there is no damage because it was barely anything?"
Kinda feels like this was written just to fill up space in the paper.
