soonerboomers, There are many problems with Shack-a-thon, and Mr. Carpenter was not addressing the one that concerns you. No, this is not a "hey yeah it is bad, but look at all of this other stuff that happens" "garbage letter". It was addressing an entirely different point and therefore was not focusing on that point.

The point of the letter is to discuss the "Greek vs rest of OU" gap that exists and calls on everyone to close the gap.

That kind of logic reminds me of the "Firefox is the worst secured browser ever" just because it had the most reported vulnerabilities. Problem is IE's vulnerabilities are most often not announced when fixed and some aren't still unfixed.

Just because a statistic is higher does not mean that results are really higher.

From the way this was written, it looks like it's an intentionally trolling article. Therefore I pay it no mind. There's always a "Religion sucks/Atheism sucks" at least once a month in this section of the OU Daily.

Matt: some of those responses couldn't have been pulled from his broadcasts. Example: one has Lunden's name.
Hint: Lunden has connections to be able to interview Gary England. Look at my previous comment for the answer.
