Maybe it is because 45% of students can't pay back their loans after graduating from OU?? Btw that number is worst in the Big 12. The data is available here:http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2010/08/16/eddata Why doesn't the Daily run a story about that issue??

While we are on the issue of student debt, guess the student loan payback rate at OU? 55%!!!! That is easily good for lowest in the Big 12. That is according to the Department of Education spreadsheet found here:http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2010/08/16/eddata Be careful with your loans kids, 45% can't pay them back after going to OU!

Nuclear power today doesn't have anything to do with the cold war. Its also very safe compared to the black lung of coal miners and oil rig deaths and contamination. One only has to look at France for a nuclear success story. They have only 1/10 the carbon emissions (greenhouse gasses) per energy unit produced (kwh) of other western European countries like Germany and the UK. I don't know whose dream it was to have this guy lecture, but he is obviously looking at the world through fossil fuel glasses if you get my drift. Nuclear power is the only sustainable energy source that can meet the world's demands in the future.

So who exactly is it that is saying Balogun is ready to step up? It certainly doesn't sound like it's Balogun. Why no quotes from him??

Kelvin Sampson told me that if Blake tries to take the ball up the court anymore, he's going to take perch in the catwalks of the LNC and blow poisonous darts at him. Just saying

The logistics of a playoff are really very simple. Div. II has been doing it for a long time. I really have to question why you are for the BCS. The BCS system just has no intuitive appeal, it makes no sense. A playoff means more quality football and probably less OU-Chattanooga type games. In the years where an Iowa doesn't keep an undeserving Big Ten contender like Penn State out of the National Championship, the championship doesn't mean as much because it wasn't earned. The only way to give the National Championship any meaning is to allow it to be decided ON THE FIELD.
