Question: Why was there a reelection? They say because of the small margin of the original election, but she wins this one by 57 votes? So what is "a small margin" and how is there even a margin with an online, password protected voting system? Not saying that she should not have won, but I am saying I think that the run-off was complete BS, and should have ended the first go around.

He should be kicked out of Gaylord, because this guy is obviously a horrible PR major. I hope this haunts him when he is looking for a job. Also, shows how crappy the OU Daily is.

Okay this is my favorite part of this article; "Student's death five years ago still resonates on campus... The memory is fading from the OU campus... But that memory of what happened five years ago today is far from gone." All within the first four lines of the article.

Also, has anyone taken into consideration that none of the current members of this house were around when this happened. Some of the current officers were FRESHMEN IN HIGH SCHOOL. Yeah, it is sad that it happened, but let's remember the person for who he was, not for who was "involved."

I find it funny that one of their complaints was that a majority of the seats in congress went unopposed during the last election, so those seats are not a good measure of the voice of the student body and are basically "appointed". But why did they not run for election? Why are they so upset but put forth no effort to be elected into one of those unopposed seats? And the members of OSDS that did fill out an application for a congressional seat did not show up to their interview, "Cough-Cough, Furzanna Iqbal!" And it does not matter if they "plan" to run for election, they didn't. So maybe, just maybe they should go about in an orderly way, instead of trying to dramatically highjack it into a mockery.

I'm interested to know if Mr. Kohut was at Tuesday nights event. Bottom line, this is a poorly written article. The event is worthy of the front page, but the Adam Kohut's writing ability, not so much.

"Author and pop culture journalist Chuck Klosterman revealed his writing rituals Tuesday night...“When I have an idea, I sit down and write it,” he said. “End of ritual.”" Wow! What an event filled night, right?
