@Corwin, I'm part of the student body, and I'm not laughing. Pro-lifers ARE anti-choice - unless it's the choice they deem acceptable. There are no jobs in my uterus, so why does the government continue to scavenge in there? Get out. It's nobody's freaking business what I do with my body.

Does nobody even realize that she wasn't even talking about contraception for herself? So all of this slut-shaming, witch hunting, frothing at the mouth crap has nothing to do with what she was ACTUALLY discussing (well, wanting to discuss, before Issa told her to go back to the kitchen.)
Even though contraceptives are used (and successfully so!) to treat plenty of reproductive problems, it takes away from the actual issue to use that as an argument. Yep, women are having sex. Yep, women - GASP! - enjoy having sex, and would like to continue to do so without the threat of pregnancy. And there is nothing wrong with that as much as Limbaugh and his disgusting, misogynistic ilk would like you to think there is.

You know what's a complete joke? Legislating morality. Two people in love who happen to identify as the same gender have zero impact on your life or marriage, so why do you care so much if they get married? Mind your own business. If you're so concerned about what God thinks, why not let God judge and not you?

I think Laudick is right. If someone wants to get completely trashed on their birthday, they're going to do it regardless of their age, the law, or whatever else is in their way. Binge drinkers will binge drink somehow. What a ridiculously overreaching bill. I'm sorry that lady's kid got alcohol poisoning, but why should other people be punished for that person's mistake?

Patriotism is a disease that needs to be eradicated. Hypernationalism is dangerous. People who don't vote are using their rights to the fullest extent - they don't agree with whatever robotic moron has been put up by the two approved parties, so they choose not to vote for either one, as is their right. Saying they have "no right to complain" is hilariously stupid - voting doesn't pay taxes, nor do your votes really count, especially if you're voting blue in a state like Oklahoma.I love my country, which is why I hate politicians.
This article is hysterical though, thanks for the laugh.

OU's fanbase is no different. We have our good, our bad, and our ugly fans. You might not agree, but the internet is full of people who hide behind the cloak of anonymity and fire off statements made to shock and offend.
I really don't think that you getting trolled on Twitter required an article in the Daily, but I'd suggest not going anywhere near the internet during the week leading up to OU/Texas.

You know what would be an awesome "precaution?" Not sexually assaulting someone.

It's because Obama's the best conservative president we've had in 30 years. I wish we'd vote in a legitimate liberal in my lifetime, but everyone seems to be against voting for their own interests for some idiotic reason.

How do you not see that exploiting the easily-hackable, "too big to fail" corporations that people think are secure is the whole point? People's personal info is out there but as long as the companies make their money, they don't seem to care about protecting consumers.

Are you new to college? Obviously not, as I've read some of your other columns. But your annoyance at college kids being college kids is hilarious. Guess what? You're just as smug and obnoxious as they are. Yup, people are going to go argue with Brother Jed, and he'll revel in the attention like he always does. At the end of the day, the world will keep spinning and nobody's mind will be changed. Hopefully, the people who ridicule him will be embarrassed. In a few years, some of them will be. But I think it's ludicrous to expect young, confused college students to be able to be polite and well-mannered when someone is sitting there singing songs about how being gay is wrong - when some of those students are struggling to come to terms with being gay themselves.
