LOL, never understood the greek system never will and FYI 7grand for "rent" for a school year is stupidly overpriced, im living right now in a 1100 sq foot 2 bed 2 bath and the entire rent is less than 800 a month so yeah for 1 room thats not just mine and shared EVERYTHING. how is that not overpriced. GPA is in no way shape or form tied to the greek system, im sorry i have a degree at the same school you went make me look bad. I would be more than happy to hear OU along with every other school banned the entire greek system. they 1 or 2 things it does that are positive are completely overshadowed by all the negativity they bring and force feed into the recruits dumb enough to believe them...

parking has is and will always be a joke at OU. there might be a free parking space somewhere, but do you want to spend 4 hours finding it? i cant count how many times i have left an hour before my class only to be late because i found a spot in my 3rd parking lot... great, glad my 200 bucks paid for SO MUCH... parking should be sold by the space, you should buy a specific space at a specific garage, cheaper if your not parking in a garage. and that should be how it is. i wised up and started paying a guy half that for a specific guaranteed space behind his house right behind the elm parking garage best money I ever spent while at OU...

We attempted to visit various apartment complexes before being told that the pool was for residents only.
are you serious, you had to be told that before you realized it? wow this paper needs some smarter people on stafff. sheesh, of course the fact that im paying rent at an apartment gives me pool privlages NOT YOU. just like a bunch of bums off the street cant show up at the OU workout centers and just use them for free.

we have to do something about this but the university is just as much to blame as the text book publishers... you see them change book revisions every couple of years and in some courses its warrented however in many its not... when we the last math breakthrough? yet i still have about 600 in "worthless" mathbooks setting on a book case... however what we really need to be aware of here is that you can both buy and re-sell books online avoid the university all together and recoup around 80% of your investment... say goodby to long lines at the book store to resell your books and then have them pay you 15 for a book you spent over 100 on just 5 months ago... use the web my friends...

yup laws need to be enacted in oklahoma many other states have them that make it illegal to sell tickets for more than face value. these people are crooks and the rich are the ones who keep this going. no student on his or her own, at least without rich parents are going to pay 3-4x face value for a ticket. it should be criminal like it is in many many other states. give these people tickets that cost 10x the money the made on the sale over face value then the scalping industry would fall appart like it should. it shouldn't cost your thousands of dollars to see a game with a team you like. season tickets should be done away with and everyone should have to camp out and wait in line. but this will never happen because OU makes way too much money giving season tickts to "donors" who "donate" tens of thousands of dollars every year to the university. watch the game on TV for free screw the machine!

the real problem here is that many times we have to chear for teams we dont like just to get strength of schedual up for the team we really want. I have no problem cheering for conference teams in genaral. the way i look at it i want OU to win first OSU next then the big 12. but many people see it other ways. really though you should and are able to cheer for any team you want to. its your right here in america, you can go sit in the student section here in Norman and cheer the visitor if you want; its your right. Why are you supporing the "2 groups of fans who cant stand one another" mentality. come on we are all adults over 18 many dont act like it but lets face it we are. Be a respectful fan. when you dont it makes the whole school look bad.
