good recap. i have some thoughts as well...
i think that jacob has taken over sayid's body. i'm not sure who "jacob's rival" who supposedly revived sayid is, but the people at the temple seemed to be jacob followers, they also seemed pretty sure sayid was dead. i think they purposely made sure sayid would die so that jacob could inhabit a body and continue to do whatever it is jacob does.
i think that in the reality where 815 lands, all the characters will still continue to weave in and out of each other's lives. as they did in flashbacks and flashforwards, now they will encounter each other in the flash-sideways. i'm excited to see how that happens, we've already seen kate and claire in the taxi, maybe jack will do locke's surgery (jack = man of faith now??)...it will be very cool.
and finally, locke's last thoughts being "I don't understand" was seriously one of the saddest things i've ever heard. that man's off-island life has been consistently heartbreaking.
