Sure, many dislike Lady Gaga because her style resembles other stars, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't make an impact on our society! She bodly goes out on stage without a care of what others think. She wears, and for me being an anti-Gaga, the most epic costumes I have ever seen. That is confindence, my friend, which most women in our society don't have enough of!

I totally agree with you on this. I remember when the election was still going and I thought to myself, "Obama might just be the one to turn this country around for the better." Now that time has passed and barely anything has happened, I realize that the world really is going to end in 2012...

Homosexuals are human just like the rest of us. Marriage should be a human right and should be open to anyone who wants to get married! Now a days, its a common thing to see children going back and forth from their mom's house to their dad's house over and over again. This is a growing trend...if you thing of it like "learned behavior" it is guaranteed that divorce rates will increase indefinately because the children of this generation will not know what its like to have a stable family with only TWO parents; whether they be both males, both females, or one of each.

I have to say I disagree with you on this...for starters, you shouldn't post anything on Facebook that your mom or dad wouldn't approve of in the first place because it is most likely innapropriate and/or questionable. Second, why are you on Facebook in the first place? Its all about Twitter now!!!

Summer wasn't all that great for me either...but I can't say for the same reasons, because my summers still consist of begging my parents to go to a friend's house for a couple of hours just to bumb out and watch anime. Movies have certainly gone downhill, and don't get me started on the music. Fall will be a better time in my perspective because, unlike you, I am still a carefree high schooler and slaving away at school for eight hours a day is better than staying at home, breaking my back doing manual labor!

I agree! Anime, for me, has definately let me open up to a culture other than my own. Everyone at my school who watches anime has an interest in the japanese culture one way or another. Most of them, like me, do in fact want to speak Japanese! It is good that people are starting to be aware of all of the interesting and fun things a different culture has to offer!

It is completely outrageous that citizens of the United States are unable to serve in the military because they are gay. Being gay is no reason to deny a person's right to protect their country and family. This country as a whole needs to move on from its anti-gay views, just like almost every country in this world has, and not risk any more soldiers' lifes on the battlefield just because gays can't join the military. As I recall, there is nothing in the Bill of Rights that states that a person who loves the same gender shouldn't join the military. The government needs to stop pulling an "Animal Farm", and let gays have their rights just like everyone else.
