Great idea, but "spare change?"

Yeah...you need to talk to an IT person about that.

I wish Boren would have kept his mouth shut. He can make these back-end deals without announcing them. He is killing any chance of building a better Big 12. Sure, we need a back up plan if the whole thing falls apart, but blabbing about it doesn't do any good. Shame on you, Boren.

Everyone knows The Reserve's Bedrooms are much bigger! The Edge's bedrooms are tiny! Did the writer research this at all?

Boren has done such a wonderful job. As a recent grad, I am so proud of where I went to school and it is the collective pride and improvements he has made that made the difference.

I'm sorry, but I was there last year, and while the protesters were screeching like banshees (real nice, guys) the Justice For All people were silent unless someone specifically came up to them to talk, and they refused to get inflammatory. I sense some major bias here. How can you even say the protesters were not there to engage Justice for All--isn't that the point of a protest?

This isn't about groups not engaging in dialogue, it is just a pro-choice person pissed off about Justice for All coming and trying to attack them in a different way.

The blonde woman (I'm ashamed I cant remember her name) on Cleo Cross 3 was wonderful for both me and my sister while she was there!

I always thought the Greek philanthropy events were kind of sad because the only people who participate (for the most part) are other Greeks, required to by their own sorority/fraternity. It's a weird and probably expensive system

This is ridiculous!

For anyone looking for cheap and close parking:

Sooners For Christ (just south of the Wesley at Lindsey & Elm) sells GUARANTEED spot permits for only $65 semester. Did that for 6 semesters--great deal and nice people.

St. Thomas More on Jenkins also sells permits at a reasonable price.

The Wesley does as well, but I think they are $300--but again, a guaranteed spot.

There is also a church on Elm that sells a few spots every semester.

Much better deal than OU Parking.

As a former Disney freak who checked out this program 2 years ago myself, I can see why this program would be attractive to students, but I'm now convinced it is the biggest, worst exploitation of college students out there.

Disney pays you crap to work for them from 6-8 months (you cant just do it over the summer, you actually have to take off school) to work what are for the most part CRAPPY jobs. There are a few okay ones working as a character, or in the hotels, but you very well could be a park janitor, cleaning up trash and throwup--and yes, you better smile while doing it.

You also get to contribute a nice chunk of the measly salary to Disney for overpriced apartments--with 4-6 people in each one! Google "Vista Way"--there are stories that would make you cringe.

And of course, you cant get a real internship until you've gone through this madness--how nice of Disney.

Disney is just getting cheap labor through exploitation by luring college students away from a semester of school to make crap working in their theme parks. I cant believe OU supports this.
