If there is going to be a ban, then it should be done properly and not half-assed. I have friends who do the alcohol checks in the dorms and Greek houses. It's absolutely ridiculous that they cannot open the fridges or drawers during the checks. Duh, students are going to hide booze in conspicuous places.

Fanny packs aren't allowed? Is that discriminatory to hipsters?

I'm so glad personal heaters aren't allowed...for a May graduation.

Irish- you can look for Gen Ed Classes on Ozone! At the bottom of the Look Up Classes page there is a box labelled "Session Attribute Type." Keep scrolling through the box to find the gen ed you want.

I do take issue with men giving their opinion on abortion, especially if they are pro-life. A man, no matter how sensitive, will never understand the fear of an accidental pregnancy, nor face the consequences as a woman will.

The best approach that a man can take is that a woman may have all options available to her and then she make a decision that is best for her.

I just wanted to clarify that Matthew Gress never asked me or any of my teachers if I had been in class.

Had he asked, he would have known that I missed almost two weeks of school because of pain. In that time span I attended a congress meeting on pain medicine and I went to a meeting for my Illicit Trafficking class. Other than that, I pretty much stayed at home.

I chose not to focus on this during my Superior Court case, because accidents aren't covered in UOSA election rules.

My friends and professors can attest to this.

Tate,

I find your response to President Boren to be rather disrespectful. "We are are not interested in your statistics or quotations." Really? DBo took his time to send the student paper a letter to clarify what occurred? Would you have preferred that he not respond?

"We don't want more money or lower fees." Wouldn't more money or lower fees solve the problem?

Academia costs money, running a campus is expensive, and students need to pay for it. We should be very grateful that funding wasn't cut more.

Don't blame the President or the University. Blame the state government for planning their budget around the price of natural gas.

The body is not incompetent. The leadership, Matthew Gress and John Jennings, just think that they are above the law.

Isn't it sad that out of a town of about 100,000 only 13,000 voted for mayor?

I'm not sure what you think a feminist is, but I was brought up with the belief that "feminism is the radical notion that women are people, too."

All I want is to make the same amount of money as a man for the same work and to not be reduced to a sex object. I also ask that my personal space (i.e. my body) not be encroached on without permission. Is that really so much to expect?

"Some commentators really need to get laid before reading cartoons..."

Hate to break it to you, but having sex does not loosen me up enough to see this as humorous. Thanks for your concern about my sex life, dio.
