Let's not forget that OU Football single-handedly pays for every other sport on campus and STILL has money left over to support the university. That includes Stoops' seemingly huge strategy, and that doesn't include all the invisible money OU gets off football from intangibles like "getting their name out there" etc. It's a worthy investment, even as shocking as the number is.

I'm out of the country and devastated I'm missing this, the final days.

Goodbye O'Connell's. You treated me so well these years.

All my love to Norman and its residents!

Love,
Jordan

TheTroll

McCoy got his degree. That was always his pr statement as to why he was leaving early. He wanted a degree, his mom wanted him to get a degree. He got one, now he can leave.

He's a redshirt junior, which means he is a senior academically.

irish and mustafa,

It's not really up for debate and no one said "America is evil and does not deserve to exist"

The fact of the matter is we invaded Iraq for no legitimate reason and the war in Afghanistan is a failure. We are destroying government and infrastructure and killing way more civilians and children than Taliban. It's a lot easier to recruit terrorists to bomb America if we killed your entire family, which was collateral damage. We are wasting a lot of money and failing.

I hate that all the new places aren't small local businesses. Keep them out! Otherwise, Norman isn't as special, cool, or homey as it used to be.

The problem is there is a conflict of interest. To be "self-actualized" and despise oppression in a materialist-based economy today means you must inherently oppose materialism. Just because it goes on where we can't see it doesn't change the fact that many of the clothes we wear and products we buy are made by people and children who are in unsuitable conditions, worked to death, and often the victims of genocide. We are funding it.

I love it. Schuyler offends some guy, and the guy responds by offending his own self with the creation and publication of the worst cartoon in history.
Way to go Brice, jackass.

I hate to say it, but even hating on UOSA just doesn't feel the same without Max at the helm.

I love it when people assume that by making it illegal to bring guns on campus, the people who are insane and intent on on a massacre will see the "No Guns", shrug there shoulders, and think, maybe some other time.

I don't particularly like guns either, but this kind of law ONLY denies the law-abiding to carry a gun.
