"I've not heard of the majority of these albums. I like music that is popular and good. Not weird and obscure."

No, you are lazy and narrow-minded. You get your music from the radio, American Idol, or whatever the recording industry shills tell you to listen you.

The best music is genuine, original and genre-bending - not a pander to the lowest common denominator, like most pop (but not all).

What an atrocious quote by Dean Davis-Undiano.

I don't agree with the petition entirely, but that comment is hilarious and something I'd expect from an immature, inexperienced and unqualified person in a high position.

As a student whose parents, brother and uncle donate generously to the university, and who plans on doing the same in the future, I am embarrassed and disgusted.

OK, here we go:

1. "Rhett Bomar is the worst of the worst; the lowest of low. How could the No. 1 recruit in the nation out of high school"

Bomar was the No. 1 HS recruit? Says who? Someone else that year was the unanimous No. 1 recruit in the nation for the entire class of '04. Some dude who liked to be called 'AD.' You might've heard of him.

2. "If you think his time is done or that he is going to pull an Eric Crouch and quit, than you’re wrong."

Than/then. Learn the difference, bud.

3. "three years later it would appear he was just a foolish kid who got caught up in the whirlwind of college football."

Hilarious. The whirlwind of college football? Give me a break. He was offered money to do work he didn't do - that's a blatant disregard for all ethical concerns regarding amateurism - the point of playing college football. You act like it's some unfortunate side effect from being an NCAA athlete. An honest mistake - like getting caught for drinking underaged.

4. "Who hasn’t made a bad decision they wished they could take back?"

Welp. I got caught sneaking drinks into the movies. That was a mistake. I got kicked out - it was TRANSFORMERS, too! Big mistake. Wish I could take it back. I can see how that could be similar to the "law breaking" and "rules violating" that Bomar got caught on when his boss overpaid him by a few thou.

5. "NFL talent scouts understand that, and that’s why Bomar is going to get his shot in the league."

Wrong. You were correct earlier - Bomar's getting a shot in the league because he can throw a football. The NFL doesn't care if you lie, cheat, steal (or sometimes kill) - they care if you can play the game. Bomar's rotten character has nothing to do with his chances at the pro level.

6. "Bomar is going to be a franchise quarterback in the NFL soon."

Okay, man.

7. "There was a time when OU fans watched Bomar scramble for 20 yards and chuck 60-yard passes down the field for a touchdown."

When was this? The spring scrimmage?

8. "More humble, self-aware, responsible and honest than ever, Bomar has recognized his faults and is doing everything he can to make people forget them."

Uh huh. Well now we're all supposed convinced.

"So she didn't realize that she had gain weight or not having her period.. Kind of hard to believe...."

There are precedents for this, you know.

- the student currently known as "EN"

"I'd comment on EN's maturity and intelligence (or general and obvious lack thereof) but I'm not sure I need to. His comment speaks for itself."

What. I can see why you'd question my maturity, sure - but intelligence?

Let's see...dude has no friends, dude tried to throw an OU professor down a flight of stairs, dude hacked into said professor's 4X4 account and used it to buy products prior to shipping it to the professor in an attempt to intimidate and systematically threaten an employee of the University.

Now, dude's in a jail.

La-hoo-seh-ur!
