Bamasooner: congratulations on graduating and thank you for donating. I want you to know that we are grateful for your donations. I am much less pleased that you are trying to hold this university hostage by threatening to withdraw future support. I am, once again, extremely happy to hear that the one to three people you talked to did not have a negative experience; but sir, that is an awfully small sample size to make a judgement on the issue we are having today.
The term "shacked up" instantly makes me think of love shack and how my generation is no different than the generations passed. Even if it was though, why should we hinder people from their choice to do just that? Why stand in the way of people's personal decisions? These are the same people who have been entrusted to vote by the government and tasked with protecting our nation. The age of students, like myself, should not have a negative impact on our liberties.
Most importantly, this action would have no negative impact on anyone else. I am a straight man whom will not use this option, but, having a few floors dedicated to those that have different beliefs than me will not impede my well-being or ability to study.
This action will not hinder heterosexuals nor people who's sexual identity is untraditional. If this option will help even one person every ten years, I think it would be worth it.
We, as Sooners, should be ahead of the curve, not straggling to accept that the curve exists.

I think he is dead on! The big 12 is going down. There really isn't a way for us to keep it alive without acquiring the likes of tcu or Boise which isn't desirable either. His statement about how we would find it much harder to get to the title game from the sec is, if anything, an understatement. How many times have we lost to sec teams recently? Now it's not going to happen again, boomer sooner, and such but still the sec seams to be a foolish choice at this point if we want to be number next year. Though I agree there are many more viewers for sec games than big 12 I think that if Texas and okla were to go to the PAC 12 it would be the same. The recruiting claim is inconsequential. No matter which conference we affiliate with we will always be the appropriate alternative for that team down south. There will be no difference in our location or school. As for selling tickets, I think you sir are delusional. We sell tickets perfectly well against the likes of Kansas state and Baylor so why would it be harder to sellthem against teams like UCLA? That doesn't make sense.
