Meredith started writing for newspapers at the age of 12, when she joined the staff of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's teen section. She worked for the Star-Telegram until she graduated and moved to Oklahoma, where she started writing for the Daily's Campus Desk. Since her freshman year, Meredith has written stories for Campus, Sports and Arts and Entertainment; blogged for the Hub and taken a few photos. She served as the Assistant Managing Editor in the spring of 2007. She left the newsroom during the summers to travel and take odd jobs, including a stint with the State Department in Ethiopia and an aid group in Zambia. Meredith's post-graduation plans are far from finalized, but she hopes to write or edit.
