Kate Cunningham
Kate Cunningham is a University College freshman from Edmond, Oklahoma. She is an advertising major and a Spanish and history minor. Kate began working for OU Daily in the fall of 2008 as an intern and enjoyed covering much of the presidential election. She looks forward to her job as a reporter this semester because she likes to talk to people and know what’s going on. Her interest in journalism was piqued by accident when, in high school, she was misplaced in a newspaper class. She liked the class so much that she stuck with it and later became an editor of the Ruff Draft, Edmond's school paper. Kate describes herself as a “hopeless right brainer." She plays tennis and loves to travel. In the future, she aspires to do foreign study in a Spanish-speaking country.
