Amanda Turner
A nontraditional student, Amanda strives to give The Daily a nontraditional look through her design touch. She is a native of Menlo Park, Calif., the birthplace of Google and the Grateful Dead. One of the world's leading experts on the sport of gymnastics, she has traveled to more than 15 countries covering international events, and done research for ESPN, Universal Sports and Disney. In addition to designing pages and overseeing the copy editors, she writes about women's gymnastics in the spring. She is primarily fueled by Diet Mountain Dew and does not associate with anyone who spells "you're" as "your." She is a journalism senior.
