Junior Mariah Lopez pitches in the game against Oregon State on March 1.

Oklahoma RHP Mariah Lopez — entering her senior season — transferred to Arizona, Wildcats head coach Mike Candrea announced on Tuesday.

Lopez leaves Oklahoma with a career 1.61 ERA and 8.42 strikeouts per seven innings, which ranks at fourth all-time in the program. Lopez tallied two no-hitters in the 2019 season — against Florida Atlantic and North Texas.

"I'm excited to welcome Mariah to the Wildcat family," Mike Candrea said in a press release. "She's a great fit on our team and will make an excellent addition to our already accomplished pitching staff. She brings Women's College World Series experience and comes to Arizona with already decorated collegiate career.

The Sooners have two Sooners in the transfer portal: Junior pitcher Parker Conrad and sophomore outfielder Alexa Schultz.
