The Sooners are scheduled to play in the 2019 Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City, Missouri, in November, OU Athletics announced Wednesday.

The Sooners will be joined by Butler, Missouri and Stanford. Matchups will be announced at a later time.

"We’re thrilled to be a part of the 2019 Hall of Fame Classic," head coach Lon Kruger said in a press release. "The tournament field will provide our team with a strong early-season challenge against a group of well-coached, high-level programs. Kansas City has always been a tremendous host during the Big 12 Championship and we’re looking forward to a similar experience in November at the Sprint Center.”

The Sooners will be in Kansas City to play West Virginia in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT.
