Senior quarterback Landry Jones walks off the field after losing to A&M at the Cotton Bowl on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013. Jones now plays with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL.

Former Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones will attend an XFL Summer Showcase in Dallas on Friday, June 7, the league announced on Twitter.

Jones, who was drafted by the Pittsburg Steelers in the 2013 NFL Draft, threw for 16,646 passing yards and 123 touchdowns in his four years with the Sooners — from 2009 to 2012. His last destination was on the Oakland Raiders as a practice squad member.

Former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops — who coached Jones — took the job as XFL Dallas' head coach and general manager back in February.
