Former Sooners Josh Heupel and Roy Williams were included in the 2020 College Football Hall of Fame ballot, the National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Hall of Fame announced on Monday.
Heupel and Williams are two of 187 players listed on the ballot. The class will be officially inducted in January of 2020, before the College Football Playoff.
Heupel, a Sooner quarterback for two years, threw for 3,606 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2000, when Oklahoma won the national championship. He'd finish with 7,066 passing yards and 62 total touchdowns.
Williams breached the top 10 of all-time pass deflections in the Big 12 as a defensive back for the Sooners. Williams also earned the Nagurski and Thorpe awards in 2001.
