The Heisman odds are once again in Oklahoma's favor.
Oklahoma transfer quarterback Jalen Hurts is among the post-spring, top-five favorites to win the Heisman Trophy, per SuperBookUSA.
New Heisman odds via @SuperBookUSA:— Brett McMurphy (@Brett_McMurphy) April 30, 2019
Fields, Hurts, Martinez 8/1
Ehlinger, Fromm 20/1
Dillon, Etienne, Jeudy, Patterson 40/1
Daniels, R. Moore, Mond 50/1
Bowman, Book, Costello, Dobbins, Ross, Swift 60/1
Hurts is in a three-way tie with right behind the first two spots. Alabama's junior quarterback Tua Tagovailoa comes in at No. 1 while Clemson's sophomore quarterback Trevor Lawrence sits at No. 2.
Hurts winning the Heisman would be the third consecutive year an OU quarterback wins college football's most prestigious award. It comes right after now-NFL quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray went back-to-back in 2017 and 2018. Three straight Heisman winners from the same school has never been done before.
