Oklahoma juniors wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and tight end Grant Calcaterra were named to the Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List on Thursday. The award is given to the best wide receiver in college football.
Lamb is just coming off of a sophomore season where he tallied 1,158 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns while registering five 100-yard receiving yard games. Calcaterra caught for 396 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2018, and caught arguably one of the most important touchdown passes of the season with an 18-yard grab to seal the Big 12 Championship game against Texas.
The 10 finalists of the award will be announced on Nov. 18 by the The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation. The finalist list will be narrowed down to three on Nov. 25. Jacksonville Jaguar wide receiver Dede Westbrook is the last Sooners to receive the award. Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is the latest winner.
