Witt committed to play baseball at Oklahoma in June 2017, but is a projected top-5 pick in the MLB Draft on Monday, June 3. In 2019, the shortstop at Colleyville Heritage High School in Texas boasts a .500 batting average with 15 home runs and 17 stolen bases to just 11 strikeouts.
Witt heads Skip Johnson’s class of 2019 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 18 in the country, per Perfect Game.
