The Sooners celebrate after a homerun during the game against Texas May 17.

Following a series win over Texas to cap off the regular season, the Sooners earned the No. 7 seed in the Big 12 Tournament, and will play No. 2 Baylor in the opening round at 4 p.m. CT on Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

The tournament, which is set to take place from May 22-26, is a double-elimination bracket between the top eight teams in the conference. With a win against Baylor, the Sooners will advance to play the winner of No. 3 Oklahoma State and No. 6 TCU on Thursday. A loss will pit Oklahoma against the loser of the game between the Cowboys and Horned Frogs.

Oklahoma (11-13 Big 12) officially clinched a spot in the tournament with a win against Texas on Thursday and fell into the seventh spot when a Kansas sweep over Kansas State improved the Jayhawks' conference record to 12-12. No. 6 TCU finished with the same record as the Sooners, but its series win over Oklahoma on April 5-7 breaks the tie.

Baylor won two of three against the Sooners on April 12-14 on the way to finishing second in the conference standings, but is entering the tournament on a three-game losing streak.
