OU athletics: K.J. Kindler, Skip Johnson among coaches to receive salary increases

The OU Board of Regents addressed upcoming coaches' salary changes Thursday in its meeting at the Chickasaw Retreat and Conference Center in Sulphur, Oklahoma.

Women's gymnastics head coach K.J. Kindler received a base-salary raise from $225,000 to $280,000 per year. Additions to her contract include an extension through 2025, a raise in unrestricted private funds from $80,000 to $100,000, and an annual stay benefit from $25,000 to $70,000 — which will be raised from $150,000 to $250,000 by 2023.

Assistant basketball coach Carlin Hartman received a contract extension through 2020 and a base-salary raise from $215,000 to $230,000 per year. His outside income salary was raised from $30,000 to $45,000 per year.

Baseball head coach Skip Johnson received a contract extension through 2023, and a base-salary pay raise from $215,000 to $220,000 per year.

Men's basketball head coach Lon Kruger and women's basketball head coach Sherri Coale received contract extensions through 2023.

The rest of the pay raises and contract extensions are as follows:

Men's golf head coach Ryan Hybl: Pay raise from $191,000 to $197,000 per year, with a contract extension through 2024.

Women's tennis head coach Audra Cohen: Pay raise from $120,000 to $130,000 per year, and a contract extension through 2023.

Men's tennis head coach Nick Crowell: Pay raise from $143,000 to $149,400 per year, and a contract extension through 2023.

Women's gymnastics assistant coach Louis Ball: Pay raise from $125,000 to $150,000 per year.

Men's golf assistant coach Bill Allcorn: Pay raise from $61,400 to $68,000 per year.

Assistant softball coach J.T. Gasso: Pay raise from $130,000 to $136,000

Assistant men's wrestling coach Nick Heflin: Pay raise from $80,000 to $85,000 per year.

Assistant women's gym coach Thomas Haley: Pay raise from $125,000 to $150,000 per year.

Volleyball head coach Lindsey Gray-Walton: Pay raise from $175,000 to $180,000 per year.

Assistant men's wrestling head coach Michael Lightner: Pay raise from $97,500 to $102,500 per year.

Assistant baseball coach Clay Overcash: Pay raise from $133,500 to $138,000 per year.

Assistant softball coach Jennifer Rocha: Pay raise from $192,000 to $198,000 per year.

Men's wrestling head coach Lou Rosselli: Pay raise from $165,000 to $170,000 with a contract extension through 2023.

Baseball assistant coach Clay Van Hook: Pay raise from $133,500 to $138,500 per year.
