No. 4 Oklahoma (11-1, 8-1 Big 12) was dominant in its final home game of the season, beating West Virginia (7-5, 5-4 Big 12) 59-31.

Starting the game without senior quarterback Baker Mayfield, the Sooners had no trouble getting out to an early lead. Oklahoma would score on just the second play of the game, taking a 7-0 lead. Mayfield entered the game on the next series and led the Sooners to a commanding 45-10 lead at halftime.

Both teams scored two touchdowns in the third before Oklahoma put West Virginia away in the fourth quarter, winning 59-31.

Despite not starting the game, Mayfield was spectacular in his final game on Owen field. He threw for 281 yards and three touchdowns on 14-of-17 passing. Sophomore running back Rodney Anderson also had another big game, rushing for 118 yards and four touchdowns.

With the regular season complete, Oklahoma will now look toward the Big 12 Championship next week versus TCU. The Sooners and Horned Frogs met earlier this season with OU coming out on top 38-20.

The Big 12 title game will take place at 11:30 a.m. CT in Arlington, Texas, at Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
