Former Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals with the No. 211 pick in the sixth round in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Anderson declared for the draft in November of 2018 after suffering a knee injury in the beginning of the season.

In his tenure with the Sooners, Anderson has only played one full season, which was in 2017. In that year, Anderson rushed for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns, with an additional five touchdowns in the air. In the fall of 2015, Anderson broke his leg. In 2016 he broke his neck. The bulk of Anderson's stats in his monster 2017 season were in the last seven games of the season.

In OU's 54-48 overtime loss to Georgia in the 2018 Rose Bowl for the College Football Semifinal, Anderson rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns.
