Former Oklahoma offensive lineman Cody Ford has unexpectedly fallen out of the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Ford was expected to be a clear first round pick, but after four tackles, one guard and one center was taken in the first round, Ford fell out of the first round.

A former three-star recruit, Ford started 21 starts for the Sooners, including all 14 last year. Ford will likely be one of the first selections in the second round as the Arizona Cardinals — who selected Kyler Murray No. 1 overall — is in search for an offensive lineman.
