Former OU quarterback Kyler Murray gets recognized for his Heisman Trophy during the OU basketball game against Texas Feb. 23.

After being drafted into the MLB and NFL, Kyler Murray is being drafted into another sport.

The Harlem Globetrotters selected the Arizona Cardinals quarterback in the 2019 players draft. The draftees include Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, former UCF 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall, WNBA Connecticut Suns forward Kristine Anigwe and 2019 National Slam Dunk champion DaQuan Jefferies. Ali played college basketball at St. Mary's from 1992-96.

“The Globetrotters have always tried to draft athletes who are superstars on and off of the court,” longtime Globetrotters director of player personnel and head coach Sweet Lou Dunbar said in a press release. “It is important for players to excite fans with their outstanding athletic ability, but our players need to be more than that, too. This year’s group of draftees really has what it takes to be Globetrotters.”
