Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz has won the Oklahoma primary election. 

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has won the Oklahoma Republican primary election, according to the New York Times

Cruz defeated businessman Donald Trump, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Cruz was also successful in Cleveland County, winning with 34.4 percent of the vote.
