The OU soccer team matched No. 17 Oklahoma State in every aspect of Sunday night's game, leaving Stillwater with a 1-1 tie.

How the Sooners tied: Without a doubt this was the best game OU has played all season. The Sooners outshot the Cowgirls, outhustled them and if not for OSU senior goalkeeper Adrianna Franch, OU would have blown out OSU.

Key stat: Shots, OU outshot the Cowgirls 23-18. The Sooners generated more offense than they have in any other game this season.

Key opponent: Senior goalkeeper Adrianna Franch had a season-high 11 saves.

Key performer: Senior forward Renae Cuellar had 13 shots, with six on goal. She also scored the team's only goal early in the second half.

What this means for the Sooners: OU was a different team tonight. It was as if the Sooners showed what they are capable of. If they can play like they did tonight on a consistent basis, they can compete with anyone.
