22% of football student ticket sales are combo package with men's hoops
This year, the OU athletic department is offering student ticket combo packages that include men's basketball and football season tickets.
The Student Combo Package is $199 and includes several other perks, such as access to one football and basketball practice, according to a university press release.
Regular football tickets are $175, according to the OU tickets website.
So far, of the 4,807 football tickets that have been sold, 1,045 of them were the combo package, according to athletic department spokesman Pete Moris.
Students who purchased season football tickets prior to 56 p.m. May 18 are first in line to purchase OU-Texas tickets when they go on sale Aug. 28, according to the OU tickets website.
More than 4,700 tickets were sold before that deadline, Moris said.
Approximately 3,193 tickets are still available to students and incoming freshmen, Moris said.
