OU softball: Sooners pound Tulsa to advance to final round of regional

The Sooners and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane gather before the NCAA Regional game in Marita Hynes Field Saturday, May 19, 2012. OU Softball won their second game in the NCAA Softball Regional against University of Tulsa this week, 7-1.
OU softball advanced to the championship round of the NCAA Norman Regional after coming back to beat Tulsa, 7-1, on Saturday.
The Golden Hurricane opened up scoring in the game with a run in the second inning before the Sooners scored six runs in the sixth.
Oklahoma will face the winner of Saturday's final match for the regional victory and the opportunity to advance to face the winner of the Tucson Regional.
The championship round begins at 1 p.m. Sunday.
