OU football: Suspended receiver Kameel Jackson will not return, Stoops says

Sophomore wide receiver Kameel Jackson will not be reinstated Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops announced at OU media day Saturday.
Last week, Stoops announced that junior receivers Jaz Reynolds and Trey Franks and sophomore defensive back Quentin Hayes would regain their scholarships and begin practicing with the team, although they would still face a suspension of “several games.”
According to SoonerSports.com, Jackson’s eligibility would be reviewed after the completion of his summer course, which ended Aug. 3.
When asked about Jackson’s status at OU Media Day on Saturday, Stoops said Jackson “won’t be back.”
