OU rowing finishes second at Big 12 Championship

The Oklahoma women’s rowing team finished second at the Big 12 Championship regatta Saturday at Lake Wyandotte, Kan., for the second straight year.

15th-ranked Texas won all race events, recording 111 points. OU posted 85.

The first and second varsity four and eight boats finished second in their races. The second novice eight placed third. The first novice eight boat finished their race in fourth.

The Sooners will compete in the Windermere Cup on May 7 in Seattle.
