OU men's golf team hits the links this weekend in Tennessee
by   |  September 24, 2010  |

This weekend, the OU men’s golf team travels to Nashville, Tenn., to participate in the Mason Rudolph Championship.

This is the team’s first tournament on the 2010-2011 schedule.

Coach Ryan Hybl said he is looking for great things out of redshirt sophomore Will Kropp this weekend. The transfer from the University of Georgia looks to rebound from a nagging neck injury.

“He is looking better every day,” Hybl said.

Hybl expects leadership from the team and a sense of continuity that will benefit the Sooners as they travel from week to week.

“Our goals and dreams are much bigger this year, and our guys are excited about playing this week,” Hybl said.

The Sooners have no home tournaments on the schedule this year but get to travel to locations such as Georgia, Arizona, California and Puerto Rico.
