It’s less than one week before spring break 2010 and many students are perplexed because they have yet to plan their break extravaganza. For students on a budget and time schedule, it is a challenge to plan a feasible vacation. In the end, however, the ultimate setting is a subtle detail considering the party does not arrive until we arrive.
Here are some top last minute destination choices for students on a budget and time crunch:
Las Vegas: If you’re going to Vegas, you’re probably not going to demonstrate the poise you learned as an upstanding attendee of our university. Chances are you are going to collect memories and are satisfied with a menu filled with fast food and beer. And it is same to assume that other collegiate travelers to this location will have the safe party-filled mindset.
About.com Las Vegas Travel Tip: The Tropicana hotel is the premier pool to find college co-eds. These rooms are currently booked from 121-188$ per night.
New Orleans: If you’re traveling to New Orleans, spring is a perfect time to escape the muggy, hot summers. Not to mention, they just won the Super Bowl. The energy for fun in New Orleans is at its peak.

South Padre Island: If you want to party but keep north of U.S.-Mexican border, South Padre Island, Texas is easy access to the ocean. Studentcity.com named the city the top collegiate-greek U.S. destination. The future of America parties here.
Studentcity.com student review: “During spring break, the island caters specifically to spring breakers… Being that Padre is in the U.S., 18+ to party, 21+ to drink, but that does not stop the 30,000+ spring breakers each year from coming to party every year for spring break.”
