A trio of OU graduates took home the grand jury prize at the deadCENTER film festival Sunday in Oklahoma City.
Graduate student and Daily Life & Arts Editor Mark Potts, and alumni Brand Rackley and Cole Selix won the award for their independent fIlm, “Simmons on Vinyl.”
The group has made several short and feature-length films for festivals across the nation. Produced for $300, “Simmons” depicts Zeek (Potts) and his pursuit of a vinyl record — and love.
