Here we go again.
The liberal media has to get all up in our guts about Sarah Palin doing something stupid. How many times are we going to do this, people? Don’t we have better things to do?
I sure hope so. The last thing we need the news to focus on is how stupid Sarah Palin is. The oil spill isn’t fixed yet. The economy is tanking again. We are still fighting in the Middle East. There are newsworthy events everywhere and the new media need to focus on those.
If they focus solely on how ridiculously ignorant Sarah Palin is, we’ll never get the information we need in order to know about the world around us.
I’m defending Palin here because it isn’t fair for her to hear constantly how her brain operates at a first-grade level. That has to be hard on a person. It would be like a super hot model going up to a fat guy and flashing her vagina and saying, “You ain’t getting this.” He knows that. Stop taunting him.
Much like Sarah Palin knows that if she was up against a platypus in a “See Who Can Solve Their Multiplication Tables Faster” competition, she could lose.
That type of abuse is not fair. She said something stupid. Big surprise. Did you honestly think she would never say something stupid again? There’s no reason to make a big deal of this.
And we change the English language all the time. We’re cool with Southerners inventing new words and changing the way you should use them.
We’re cool with people from Boston replacing “-r” with “-aw.” Why not let her just make up her own words?
Proper English is for erudite elitists and the British.
So Palin, I say go for it. Compare yourself to Shakespeare, an incredibly smart master of the English language.
You too are an incredibly smart master of the English language, at least the version you created.

This article made me smile. It's true that the media attacks her more often than necessary and, truthfully, that might be the surest modern sign that it's liberally slanted. I think people who mock her are just afraid of her becoming a presidential candidate... a fear with which I sympathize.
