Media representatives who cover the Big 12 conference selected six OU football players to the conference's 2010 preseason All-Big 12 team.
Players include junior receiver Ryan Broyles, senior running back DeMarco Murray, junior offensive lineman Stephen Good, senior defensive lineman Jeremy Beal, junior linebacker Travis Lewis and senior defensive back Quinton Carter.
OU tied the University of Texas with six players from each team voted to the team. However, Broyles also was chosen as the punt returner specialist — giving the Sooners a league-high seven positions.
This is the second preseason All-Big 12 honors for Broyles, Lewis and Murray — who also were voted to the 2009 preseason team.
Beal, Lewis and Nebraska's defensive lineman Jared Crick were the only unanimous selections.
