Media members who cover the Big 12 Conference believe the Sooners have what it takes to win their division.
The OU football team has been picked to with the Big 12 South division in the league's preseason media poll.
OU got 16 first-place votes, while Texas received the other 10 votes — the only other South team to be voted first.
The Sooners and Longhorns tied first first place in the 2009 preseason poll.
In the North, media members unanimously pegged Nebraska to win its division. The Cornhuskers, who are bolting for the Big Ten in 2011, received all 26-first place votes.
Missouri was picked second in the North, followed by Kansas State, Kansas, Colorado and Iowa State.
Texas A&M was picked to finish third in the South. Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Baylor round out the South.

Nebraska wins the title this year, unless the subjugated BigXII referees decide to make their last year in the conference a living hell. Just remember OU fans, Nebraska did some damage last year and I do not see Ou's quarterback situation improving overnight. Get ready for a season of the CORN.
