Men’s tennis looks for another upset win
by   |  February 19, 2010  |

The No. 44 Sooners men’s tennis team (3-1) will face their toughest opponent yet tonight inside the Gregg Wadley Tennis Pavilion. The Sooners will square off against No. 20 Alabama (3-4) at 6 p.m. in Norman.

Alabama has one of the toughest schedules in the country and is coming off a win that qualified them for the National Indoors.

Oklahoma will enter tonight’s match coming off a 7-0 upset over No. 51 Arkansas.

The men’s tennis team will hope to gauge their efforts and skills against a tough Alabama team by remaining undefeated at home.

The Sooners, despite a disappointing outing at the ITA National Indoor Championships, will look for redemption against a team that has lost its last three matches.

OU will also face in-state rival Oklahoma State on Sunday, Feb 21, for the first Bedlam tennis match of the season.
