No. 13 Oklahoma leveled the Bedlam blow to No. 10 Oklahoma State Saturday afternoon in a 77-66 road win.

This game featured two of the strongest point guards in the conference, but OU junior Danielle Robinson got the best of OSU’s Andrea Riley. Robinson finished the game with a career-high 36 points and nine rebounds.

Riley closed with 30 points of her own.

The 11-point victory was not indicative of how close the game remained throughout.

To kick things off, the Cowgirls opened up a two-possession 20-14 lead at the midway point in the first half, but within two minutes the Sooners knotted the game at 20.

OU took a first half lead with 8:11 remaining in the half off a lay-up by Danielle Robinson, but Cowgirls and Sooners would trade the lead back and forth until halftime.

The Cowgirls would head into the locker room ahead 33-31.

The second half picked up where the first left off with both teams trading baskets and leads numerous times. OU went on a 6-2 run, but Riley answered with two threes for the Cowgirls.

Throughout most of the second half, the Sooners maintained no more than a single possession lead over the Cowgirls.

With 2:58 left in the half, OU opened up a six-point, 67-61 lead over the Cowgirls, its largest of the day, and closed out what had been a close Bedlam contest.

The Sooners won the battle on the boards, out-rebounding the Cowgirls 49-31. Senior forward Amanda Thompson led the Sooner rebounding effort with 10, followed closely by Robinson and senior center Abi Olajuwon with nine.

Olajuwon added 14 points for the Sooners and senior guard Nyeshia Stevenson finished the afternoon with 12 points.

Tegan Cunningham was the other Cowgirl in double digits with 16 points.
