TE Jermaine Gresham's injury confirmed

According to a press release from Soonersports.com, head coach Bob Stoops announced today tight end Jermaine Gresham's status.

Gresham will miss Saturday's season opener against Brigham Young due to a knee injury. The senior has cartilage damage in his right knee and the evaluation process is continuing.

Stoops said in the release that Gresham, along with team doctors and athletic training staff, are considering treatment options that could affect the date of his return.

Offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson indicated that Trent Ratterree and James Hanna will be listed on the depth chart at the tight end position.
