James Cornwell/The Daily Freshman Marie-Pier Huet hits a volley during her doubles match against Texas Pan-American Saturday evening at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club.

Coming off spring break, the men’s tennis team looks to increase its winning streak to three while the women’s team looks to snap its four game losing streak.

Both teams will be in action today at 6 p.m. at the Gregg Wadley Indoor Tennis Pavilion in Norman. Both will continue Big 12 play as the men (9-5) will face No. 14 Texas A&M (8-5) and the women (6-9) will face Kansas (6-8).

The men’s match will feature a matchup between two top-ranked singles players. OU’s junior Andrei Daescu, currently ranked No. 94 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, will take on No. 16 Conor Pollock of Texas A&M in singles play.

This will be the first time that the men’s and women’s teams will be playing at the Gregg Wadley Indoor Pavilion at the same time. The women will be playing on the north courts while the men will be on the south courts. Admission is free.
