Men's Basketball: Griffin earns basketball preseason honors
Oklahoma sophomore Blake Griffin has been selected the Big 12 preseason player of the year in a vote by conference basketball coaches.
OU freshman Willie Warren was chosen the conference preseason freshman of the year.
Junior college transfere Mario Little of Kansas is the preseason newcomer of the year.
The preseason all conference team includes Griffin, Curtis Jerrells of Baylor, A.J. Abrams of Texas, Damion James of Texas and Sherron Collins of Kansas.
