• Police ejected five to six people from a party at the OU Armory for causing a disturbance, OUPD Lt. Bruce Chan stated in an e-mail.

According to Chan, OUPD responded Saturday at 12:56 a.m. after a call was made reporting a disturbance.

Two OU police officers were already at the party and two more officers and a supervisor responded to the call, Chan said.

“Since this was resolved by the officers sending people away, with no need to resort to arrests, no police case report was made,” Chan said.

Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority hosted the party.

• OUPD also arrested a 17-year-old for possession of marijuana on the 10th floor of Couch Center early Saturday morning.

Police responded shortly after 2 a.m. to the report of an odor that smelled like marijuana, Chan said in an e-mail.

Police arrested the juvenile. Others were sent away with warnings not to return.
